はじめまして、コフミです。
私のブログ、Animated Japanese and its blog を見つけていただき、どうもありがとうございます。
せっかくですので、簡単に自己紹介を。
千葉県出身、１０年ほどイギリスで生活、現在はストックホルムに約９年在住中の二児の母です。
２０年近く日本の外に住んでいるせいか、最近、本当に、日本が恋しいです。
ここ数年その思いから、日本のテレビ番組をアプリで観まくり、勤務先のインターナショナルスクールでは折り紙クラブを発足したりなどしていました。最近ではそれに加えて日本の漫画をオンラインで読むという趣味も加わりました。
もっと日本と繋がっていたい、近づきたいという思いは、私がブログを書く大きな理由の一つとなっています。私の経験や少しだけ人よりも得意なことを活かして日本語で発信し、どなたかの役に立ちたいという思いと、英語で日本のことを発信してもっと日本のいいところを世界中の人に知ってほしいという思いが軸になっているようです。
ゆっくりでもいいので、実現できたらいいな〜と思っています。

Hi, I’m Kofumi.
Thank you very much for finding my blog in the extremely vast information sea.
I grew up in Japan, however, I moved to England about 20 years ago and spent a good 10 years there. Then I somehow ended up living in this beautiful city called Stockholm in Sweden.
20 years……yes, it is a very long time to live outside of the home county where my family members still live.
This is one of the biggest reasons why I’m writing this blog. I just wanted to be close to my home country and just wanted to be connected to it.
I would like to share any of my knowledge that might be helpful for you to learn Japanese, which my sons are struggling with. I understand that it is not easy at all to learn the language without living there.
Luckily, I have got an opportunity to work at an International school here. So I saw a lot of amazing teaching practice that all the teachers at the school provide with the students. I’m hoping this experience would help me create somewhat useful learning material for you to study Japanese.
Oh and I would like to mention that I have got an experience teaching Japanese children here in Stockholm Japanese and Maths every weekend for a period of one year in the past as well.
I believe that I can say that I have got good amount of enthusiasm about teaching and Japanese.
Lastly, I would like to mention about my YouTube channel that I am passionate about.
It is called Animated Japanese where I create short videos to learn Japanese characters. You are more than welcome to visit my channel as well as this blog.
